Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

NOTE: The engine coolant sensor is located next to the thermostat housing.

REMOVAL
1. With the engine cold, disconnect coolant sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove coolant sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. Install coolant sensor.
- Tighten sensor to 28 Nm (20 ft lb) torque.
2. Attach electrical connector to sensor.
