SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Under certain door closing conditions, the upper rear corner of the front door may come in contact with the upper front corner of the cargo door causing the paint to chip off the front and/or cargo door.
DIAGNOSIS:
Inspect the upper front corner of the cargo door for witness marks from the front door contacting the cargo door. If there are any witness marks on the upper front corner of the cargo door that could be caused by the front door coming in contact with the cargo door, perform the following Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves repairing any area that paint has chipped off and installing an antichip molding on both front doors.
1. Clean the upper front door hem flange area and any chipped area of the cargo door with soap and water to remove all water soluble contaminants. Dry carefully with air and clean towels.
2. Clean the upper front door hem flange area and any chipped area of the cargo door with an appropriate wax and grease remover. Follow the label directions on the product used.
3. Use touch-up paint to repair any areas of the front or cargo doors that may have had the paint chipped off. Allow the touch-up paint to thoroughly dry.
4. Peel the protective cover from the molding's adhesive strip. Then, align the top of the molding with the upper edge of the front door to the radius tangent. In addition, the lip of the molding should cover the rolled edge of the hem flange (Figure 1).
5. Apply pressure to the outer surface of the molding to ensure proper adhesion of the molding.
6. Perform the same procedure to the doors on the other side of the vehicle.
