Disassembly and Assembly

Remove the engine assembly from the vehicle.

DISASSEMBLE
1. Remove the cylinder head and valve train.
2. Remove the intake system.
3. Remove the timing cover and timing chain with sprockets.
4. Remove the oil pan.
5. Remove the piston-connecting rod assemblies.
6. Remove the crankshaft and bearings.

ASSEMBLE
1. Install crankshaft and bearings.
2. Install the piston/connecting rod assembly.
3. Install the oil pan.
4. Install timing cover, timing chain and sprockets.
5. Install the cylinder head and valve train.
6. Install the engine into the vehicle.
7. Install intake system.
