When Door Trim Panel Is Removed For Service

The door trim panel is secured to the door with three (3) screws and up to 13 plastic retainer clips (Figure 1 and Figure 2). When removing the door trim panel from the door, it is extremely important that each individual plastic retainer clip is separated from the door using a trim panel removal tool such as Snap On tool A161B. Door panels should never be removed by hand. Damage to the door trim panel retainer clip attachments may occur if a removal tool is not used.

CAUTION:
DAMAGE TO THE DOOR TRIM PANEL MAY OCCUR IF THE DOOR TRIM PANEL RETAINER CLIPS ARE SEPARATED FROM THE DOOR WITHOUT USING A TRIM PANEL REMOVING TOOL.
