Fuel Delivery and Air Induction: Application and ID

The engine will sometimes be referred to as either: LDC (Light Duty Emission Cycle) or HDC (Heavy Duty Emission Cycle) engine.

- The HDC gas powered engines can be easily identified by the use of an engine mounted air injection pump.
- The LDC gas engines will not use an air injection pump.
