Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.

Stabilizer Bar:

2. Remove the link bolt nuts, retainers and insulators from the strut bar.
3. Remove the link bolts, retainers, insulators and spacer from the stabilizer bar.
4. Remove stabilizer bar retainer bolts and remove the bar.
5. Remove the bushings from the stabilizer bar.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the bushings on the stabilizer bar.
2. Position the stabilizer bar on the frame rails.

NOTE: Ensure the bar is centered with equal spacing on both sides.

3. Install stabilizer bar retainers and bolts. Tighten the bolts to 23 Nm (200 inch lbs.).
4. Install the link bolt, retainers, spacer and insulators.
5. Install the link bolts nuts. Tighten the nuts to 11 Nm (100 inch lbs.).
6. Remove support and lower the vehicle.
