Spark Plug: Adjustments
Setting Spark Plug Electrode Gap:
Check the
spark plug gap with a gap gauge. If the gap is not correct, adjust it by bending the ground -- center electrode.
Refer to the
Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) label, (under hood).
If label is gone, or not readable, verify system and use the following specification.
Plug Gap 0.048 to 0.053 in
