Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

Pre-removal Operation
- Reduce Residual Pressure from High Pressure Hose (Refer to On-Vehicle Service).

Post-Installation Operation
- Fuel Pressure Measurement. (Refer to On-Vehicle Service).





REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS




Step 1,6: Eye Bolt Removal
Hold the fuel filter with a spanner and remove the eye bolt. Caution
As there will be some pressure remaining in the fuel pipe line, cover it with a rag to prevent fuel from spraying out.





Step 5: Fuel Main Pipe Disconnection
Hold the fuel filter with a spanner and loosen the flare nut. Then disconnect the fuel main pipe.
