SYMPTOM
WARNING LAMP OPEN (ACTIVE)

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON, the ACM needs to turn the lamp on because of detection of a malfunction, or during a lamp check.

SET CONDITION
With the voltage ON, the airbag warning lamp driver circuit is other than expected.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fused ignition switch output circuit open
- Warning lamp bulb defective
- Warning lamp circuit board defective
- Warning lamp driver circuit shorted to ground
- ACM defective, warning lamp driver open
- Warning lamp driver circuit open
- Warning lamp driver circuit shorted to voltage
