Transmission Cooler: Description and Operation

Auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler:

The primary transmission oil cooler is an internal oil-to-coolant type, mounted in the radiator left tank. Also, an auxiliary oil-to-air type cooler is mounted in front of the A/C condenser. Use only approved transmission oil cooler hose. Since these are molded to fit space available, molded hoses are recommended.
