Rear Door Lock(s) Do not Operate Properly

OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves removing the rear door lock knob rod foam anti-rattle pad and installing an anti-rattle silencer disk.

MODELS:
1998 - 2000 (DN) Durango

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Rear door lock knob linkage sticks/binds causing the rear door latch lock mechanism to not function properly. Customers may indicate that they are not able to lock or unlock their rear door(s).

DIAGNOSIS:
Attempt to operate the affected rear door lock mechanism by manually pulling up/pushing down on the lock knob. If the lock mechanism fails to operate or binds when the knob is pulled up/pushed down, perform the Repair Procedure.
