Clearing Trouble Codes

RESET MODULE

NOTE: Chrysler only provides a procedure to clear ABS Codes with a Chrysler Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) scan tool. There are no procedures provided by Chrysler to clear ABS codes with a generic scan tool or any other procedure besides using the Chrysler DRB.

NOTE: The procedure for clearing codes is the same for rear wheel and four wheel ABS systems.

This command resets the EBC 2 and EBC 325 system as follows: it turns on both warning indicators, clears all trouble indicators and counters in the NVRAM, and reactivates the system. The reset module command is accepted by the CAB only if the vehicle's wheels are not rotating.
