Instrument Panel End Cap Replacement

INSTRUMENT PANEL END CAP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

There are end caps used on each end of the instrument panel. The end cap on the driver side end of the instrument panel also conceals the junction block and serves as the fuse access panel.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Remove the instrument panel end cap by grasping it firmly using the finger recess molded into the cap.

3. Pull the end cap sharply away from the end of the instrument panel to release the snap clips that secure it there.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the end cap to the instrument panel.

2. Align the snap clips on the back of the end cap with the receptacles in the end of the instrument panel.

3. Press firmly on the end cap over each of the snap clip locations until each of the snap clips is fully engaged in its receptacle.

4. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
