P1756 GOV Press Not Equal to Target @ 15-20 PSI

SYMPTOM
P-1756 GOV PRESS NOT EQUAL TO TARGET @ 15-20 PSI (GAS)

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the Key on and Engine running.

SET CONDITION
A fault condition is identified if the output of the Governor Pressure Sensor is below 15 PSI or above 30 PSI when the requested pressure is between 20 and 25 PSI for 2.2 seconds. The code is set when after five consecutive bad 2.2 seconds tests.

- DRB shows other transmission codes
- 5 V supply circuit to solenoid pack connector open
- Governor pressure sensor defective
- Transmission leaking internally
- Transmission mechanically defective
- Transmission mechanically defective
- Valve body defective
- Valve body defective
- Governor pressure sensor wiring harness intermittent defect
- Governor pressure sensor wiring harness observable defect
- Inactive trouble code condition
