Brake Switch Circuit

When Monitored:
Ignition on.

Set Condition:
1. Vehicle speed greater than 24 km/h (15 mph) and the brake pedal has not been released since ignition was turned on.

OR

2. ABS enabled for at least one second with brake switch released and having no history of ever having been applied since key on.

Possible Causes
- BRAKE LAMP NOT WORKING
- BRAKE PEDAL I/0 STATUS MATCH
- BRAKE SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT OPEN
- BRAKE SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
- SERVICE BRAKE SWITCH DEFECTIVE
