Differential General Information

The Dodge Viper is equipped with an all aluminum Dana (Model 44) rear axle. The final drive ratio is 3.07. All rear axles are equipped with a TRAC-LOK (clutch type) limited slip differential.

The axle is equipped with a special high strength ring and pinion. Should service ever be required, use only parts that are equal in quality to the original parts. Failure to do so could result in premature axle failure.
