Test 1:

SYMPTOM
WARNING LAMP OPEN/SHORT (STORED)

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test CLUSTER MESSAGE MISMATCH (STORED).

WHEN MONITORED
When the ignition is ON, the ACM monitors the CCD Bus for a message from the MIC containing the airbag warning lamp bulb status.

SET CONDITION
The code is set if the lamp state is open for 2 consecutive messages or 2 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Stored code present
- Stored code has become active
