SYMPTOM
P1492 - AMBIENT/BATTERY TEMPERATURE SENSOR VOLTS TOO HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition key ON.

SET CONDITION
The PCM senses the voltage from the BTS to be above 4.9 volts for 3 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Sensor ground circuit open
- BTS signal circuit open
- BTS signal circuit shorted to voltage
- BTS
- PCM
- Wiring harness intermittent problem
