Scuff Plate: Service and Repair
LIFTGATE SCUFF PLATEREMOVAL
Fig. 18:
1. Remove screws attaching cargo tie downs to liftgate scuff plate (Fig. 18).
2. Grasp scuff plate and lift upward to disengage spring clips.
3. Separate scuff plate from liftgate opening.
INSTALLATION
1. Position scuff plate in liftgate opening.
2. Press scuff plate to engage spring clips.
3. Install screws attaching cargo tie downs to liftgate scuff plate (Fig. 18).
