This bulletin involves installing a new window regulator.

THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH POWER WINDOWS (SALES CODE JPD) BUILT ON OR AFTER MAY 22, 2000 (MDH 0522XX). IN ADDITION, FOR DAKOTA MODELS, THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO DAKOTA QUAD CAB (AN84) VEHICLES ONLY.
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Intermittent operation of the driver's power window automatic one-touch window down feature.
DIAGNOSIS/REPAIR PROCEDURES:
Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position. Operate the driver side power window automatic one-touch window down feature. Repeat several times. It the driver side power window automatic one-touch window down feature intermittently operates, perform the Repair Procedure.
NOTE:
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS CONDITION, IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO DUPLICATE THE SYMPTOM. IF THE CUSTOMER INDICATES THAT THE DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW AUTOMATIC ONE-TOUCH WINDOW DOWN FEATURE INTERMITTENTLY OPERATES, PERFORM THE REPAIR PROCEDURE.
