The oil pump is contained within the timing chain cover housing (Fig. 79).

REMOVAL
1. Remove oil pan and timing chain cover.
2. Remove oil pump cover and rotors. Refer to Oil Pump Disassembly for procedures.
3. Clean and Inspect oil pump components. Refer to Oil Pump.

INSTALLATION
1. Install oil pump. Refer to Oil Pump for procedures.
2. Install timing chain cover and oil pan.
