SYMPTOM
WIPER PARK SWITCH FAILURE

WHEN MONITORED
After the CTM sees the park SW sense circuit transition to B+ (high) it starts counting. If the line never goes high (open ckt) the CTM will not start counting and fault will not set. If the line state remains high for longer than 8 secs, the DTC will set

SET CONDITION
The switch state should change from high to low as wipers approach park position and the park switch transitions from B+ to ground.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Wiper park switch sense circuit- short/voltage
- Defective wiper motor/wiper park switch
- Central timer module default/ wiper park switch
