SYMPTOM
P1756 - GOVERNOR PRESSURE NOT EQUAL TO TARGET @ 15-20 PSI

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key ON and the engine running.

SET CONDITION
This code will set if the output of the governor pressure sensor is below 15 psi or above 30 psi when the requested pressure is between 20 and 25 psi for 2.2 seconds. Five consecutive bad 2.2 second test are required to set the code.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- 5 volt supply circuit open
- Intermittent governor pressure solenoid
- Internal transmission problem
- Oil burnt or oil pan has excessive debris
- Other transmission DTC's
- Valve body
- Governor pressure sensor (high)
- PCM
