FRONT END SPLASH SHIELDS

REMOVAL

1. Hoist and support vehicle on safety stands.
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Release hood latch and open hood.

4. Disengage thumbscrew holding wheelhouse splash shield to front extension splash shield (Fig. 2).
5. Disengage thumbscrew holding front extension splash shield to radiator closure panel.
6. Remove front extension splash shield from wheelhouse.
7. Remove rivets attaching splash shield to frame rail forward of suspension.
8. Remove rivets attaching splash shield to frame rail rearward of suspension.
9. Remove rivets attaching splash shield to frame reward of wheel.
10. Remove splash shield from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Position splash shield to vehicle.
2. Install rivets attaching splash shield to frame rearward of wheel.
3. Install rivets attaching splash shield to frame rail rearward of suspension.
4. Install rivets attaching splash shield to frame rail forward of suspension.
5. Position front extension splash shield to wheelhouse.
6. Engage thumbscrew attaching front extension splash shield to radiator closure panel.
7. Engage thumbscrew attaching wheelhouse splash shield to front extension splash shield.
8. Install wheel and tire assembly.
