Differential Mount: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Fig. 3:

1. Remove the two bolts at the center of the pinion crossmember attached to the differential housing (Fig. 3).
2. Remove the two outboard bolts that attach the pinion crossmember to the frame.
3. Remove the pinion crossmember.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the two outboard bolts that attach the pinion crossmember to the frame. Tighten bolts to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the two bolts at the center of the pinion crossmember to the differential housing. Tighten bolts to 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
