SYMPTOM
PRNDL SWITCH CIRCUIT OPEN

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The Instrument Cluster detects the fault after the second consecutive ignition cycle of greater than 3 (three) seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Transmission range sensor 5 volt supply circuit open
- Transmission range sensor MUX circuit open
- Transmission range sensor
- Instrument cluster
