Component Locations

The control panel and integral computer is located in the instrument panel.

The A/C pressure transducer is a switch that is installed on a fitting located on the refrigerant liquid line between the filter-drier and the expansion valve in the right rear corner of the engine compartment.

The single zone blend door actuator is located on the driver side end of the heater-A/C housing unit, close to the dash panel.

The blend door actuator is also located on the driver side end of the heater-A/C housing unit close to the instrument panel, and is mechanically connected to only the driver side blend air door.

The blower motor relay is located in the Intelligent Power Module (IPM), which is in the engine compartment near the battery.

The compressor clutch relay is located in the Intelligent Power Module (IPM), which is in the engine compartment near the battery.

The single mode door actuator is located on the driver side end of the heater-A/C housing unit, close to the top of the distribution housing.

The single recirculation door actuator is located on the passenger side end of the heater-A/C housing unit, on the bottom of the lower intake air housing.

The single blend door actuator is located on the outboard side of the rear heater-A/C unit housing, below the mode door actuator.

The demister outlet is located at each outboard end of the instrument panel top pad, near the belt line at the A-pillars.

The blower motor and wheel are located near the passenger side end of the heater-A/C unit within the two halves of the intake air housing in the passenger compartment below the instrument panel.

The cooling module is located in the air flow in the front of the engine compartment behind the radiator grille.

The front evaporator is located in the heater-A/C unit housing, behind the instrument panel.

The front "H" valve-type Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is located at the dash panel between the liquid and suction lines, and the evaporator coil.

The front heater core is located in the distribution housing of the heater-A/C unit, under the instrument panel.

The rear evaporator is located in the rear heater A/C unit housing, behind the right rear wheel house.

The rear "H" valve-type thermal expansion valve (TXV) is located at the rear of the rear heater-A/C unit housing between the evaporator line extension and the evaporator coil.

The rear heater core is located near the front of the rear heater-A/C unit housing, behind the right rear wheel house.
