Power Door Lock Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the mirror flag trim bezel from the inside of the front door.

3. Remove the screws that secure the power window and power lock switch and mounting plate unit to the back of the mirror flag trim bezel.
4. Remove the power window and power lock switch and mounting plate unit from the mirror flag trim bezel.
5. With a small thin-bladed screwdriver, gently pry the snap clips at the sides of the power lock switch receptacle on the back of the switch mounting plate and pull the switch out of the receptacle.
INSTALLATION
1. Align the power lock switch with the receptacle on the back of the switch mounting plate.
2. Using hand pressure, press the switch firmly and evenly into the mounting plate receptacle until it snaps into place. Be certain that each of the snap clips at the sides of the power lock switch receptacle are fully engaged.
3. Position the power window and power lock switch and mounting plate unit onto the back of the mirror flag trim bezel.
4. Install and tighten the screws that secure the power window and power lock switch and mounting plate unit to the back of the mirror flag trim bezel. Tighten the screws to 2 Nm (20 in. lbs.).
5. Reinstall the mirror flag trim bezel onto the inside of the front door.
6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
