Power Steering Fluid

The power steering fluid level should be checked at the power steering pump reservoir whenever the vehicle is serviced. Before removing the reservoir cap, wipe the outside of the cap and reservoir. Fluid should be maintained at the proper level indicated on the cap dipstick.

Warning:

The fluid should be checked with the engine off to prevent injury of moving parts. Never add gear oil or automatic transmission fluid. Do not overfill as seal damage and leakage can result.
