Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer fluid level switch from the switch connector receptacle .
3. Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer pump/motor unit from the motor connector receptacle.
4. Remove the washer supply hose from the barbed outlet nipple of the washer pump/motor and allow the washer fluid to drain into a clean container for reuse.
5. Remove the two screws that secure the top of the washer reservoir to the top of the radiator closure panel.
6. Lift the washer reservoir upwards far enough to disengage the reservoir mounting tab from the slot in the mounting bracket on the back of the lower radiator closure panel.
7. Remove the washer reservoir from the radiator closure panel.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the washer reservoir to the back of the radiator closure panel
2. Engage the tab on the bottom of the washer reservoir in the slot in the mounting bracket on the back of the lower radiator closure panel.
3. Install and tighten the two screws that secure the top of the washer reservoir to the top of the radiator closure panel. Tighten the screws to 6 Nm (50 in. lbs.).
4. Reconnect the washer supply hose to the barbed outlet nipple of the washer pump/motor.
5. Reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer pump/motor unit to the motor connector receptacle.
6. Reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer fluid level switch to the switch connector receptacle.
7. Refill the washer reservoir with the washer fluid drained from the reservoir during the removal procedure
8. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
