Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

DOOR GLASS

REMOVAL

1. Remove the waterdam. Refer to Front Door Panel.
2. Remove the inner belt weatherstrip.
3. Remove the outer belt weatherstrip.
4. Lower glass to expose bolts attaching brackets to regulator.

5. Loosen bolts attaching brackets to regulator (Fig. 16).
6. Loosen bolts at front and rear glass channels.
7. Lift glass upward/outward while rotating forward.

8. Separate glass from door (Fig. 17).

INSTALLATION

1. Position glass in door.
2. Engage brackets with bolts on regulator (Fig. 16).
3. Tighten bolts attaching brackets to regulator with 11 N.m (8 ft. lbs.) torque.
4. Tighten bolts at front and rear glass channels.
5. Install the inner belt weatherstrip.
6. Install the outer belt weatherstrip.
7. Install the waterdam.
