Power Seat Switch: Testing and Inspection

DRIVER POWER SEAT SWITCH

For circuit descriptions and diagrams, refer to Wiring Diagrams.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the driver power seat switch from the seat cushion side shield (Refer to POWER SEATS/DRIVER SEAT SWITCH - REMOVAL).

3. Use an ohmmeter to test the continuity of the switches in each position. See the Driver Power Seat Switch Continuity chart. If OK, refer to Diagnosis and Testing of the Power Seat Track. If not OK, replace the faulty power seat switch.
