Horn: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the headlamp assembly from the left front fender. (Refer to LAMPS/ LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - REMOVAL).

3. Disconnect the wire harness connector(s) from the horn connector receptacle(s).
4. Remove the screw that secures the horn and mounting bracket unit(s) to the ABS access plate on the left front fender support.
5. Remove the horn and mounting bracket unit(s) from the ABS access plate on the left front fender support.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the horn and mounting bracket unit(s) onto the ABS access plate on the left front fender support.
2. Install and tighten the screw that secures the horn and mounting bracket unit(s) to the ABS access plate on the left front fender support. Tighten the screw to 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.).
3. Reconnect the wire harness connector(s) to the horn connector receptacle(s).
4. Install the headlamp assembly onto the left front fender. (Refer to LAMPS/ LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - INSTALLATION).
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
