The upper, rear hinge swing-arm locking lever operates the door closed-position locking catch.For correct door operation, the closed-position locking catch must disengage/engage the striker (Fig. 32) and (Fig. 33). If the locking catch does not operate properly, install or remove shim(s) to reposition the striker (Fig. 34).
