Headliner: Service and Repair
HEADLINERCAUTION: Headliners have limited flexibility and must not be bent during removal or installation. Permanent damage will result.
REMOVAL
The headliner in this vehicle is functional as well as cosmetic. The headliner unit incorporates integral structural reinforcements and padding that are designed to reduce the potential for a harmful contact with the vehicle structural members beneath the trim by absorbing and distributing the energy from the vehicle occupants who might contact them during a vehicle impact.
