SYMPTOM
BRAKE SHIFT INTERLOCK OUTPUT OPEN - FCM

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition in the Unlock/Run/Start position.

SET CONDITION
The Brake Shift Interlock output off, no output fault of Unlock/Run/Start or BTSI output, but the Unlock/Run/Start or BTSI feedback voltage cannot be detected by the FCM.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- BTSI solenoid
- BTSI solenoid control circuit open
- FCM output (unlock/run/start) circuit open
- IPM
