NOTE: If the G-sensor (3) was mounted incorrectly in the area designed for the GPS antenna, the G-sensor will be off 90 ° and not function properly.

The G-sensor (3) is located under the instrument panel top cover (1). The sensor (3) must be mounted with the electrical connector (4) facing the passenger side of the vehicle to function properly.

OPERATION
4X4 WITH TRACTION CONTROL
The sensor is monitored by the ABM at all times. The sensor contains an accelerometer which monitors vehicle deceleration rates (G-force). The accelerometer reads the rate of deceleration, sending a signal to the ABM.
