Instrument Panel Center Bezel

INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER BEZEL

WARNING: Follow all Warnings for airbag component service. Refer to Airbag System.

REMOVAL

1. Open decklid.
2. Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
3. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
4. Wait two minutes for the airbag system reserve capacitor to discharge before beginning any airbag system or instrument panel component service.
5. Remove the console bezel.
6. Remove six Allen screws and one standard screw at the bottom and separate the bezel from the instrument panel.
7. Disconnects the HVAC and start switch electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the HVAC and starter switch electrical connectors.
2. Install the bezel and install the six Allen screws and one standard screw at the bottom of the bezel.
3. Install the console bezel.
4. Connect the battery negative cable.
5. Place battery access cover into place and install four bolts.
6. Close deck lid.
7. Verify vehicle and system operation.
