3.3L & 3.8L

The 3.3L/3.8L crankshaft sensor is located on the rear of the transmission housing, above the differential housing. The bottom of the sensor is positioned next to the drive plate.
1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable at battery
2. Disconnect harness connector (3) from the crankshaft position sensor (2).
3. Remove bolt (1).
4. Remove crankshaft position sensor (2) from the transmission housing (4).
