Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

2. Remove the left rear D-pillar trim panel from the vehicle.

3. Remove the lift gear retaining bolts (Figure 1).

4. Remove the lift gear and rod from the vehicle.
