Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Remove bolts attaching crossover pipe to exhaust manifold (Figure 1).

3. Disconnect left cylinder bank spark plug wires.
4. Remove heat shield attaching bolts (Figure 2).
5. Remove bolts attaching exhaust manifold to cylinder head (Figure 2).
6. Remove the exhaust manifold (Figure 2).

7. Inspect and clean manifold.
