RIGHT FRONT IMPACT SENSOR INTERNAL 1
TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test NO RIGHT FRONT IMPACT SENSOR COMMUNICATION.
WHEN MONITORED
The Right Front Impact sensors is equipped with onboard diagnostics to monitor the sensors internal circuits. If a problem is identified the sensor sends the Right Front Impact sensor internal 1 message to the ACM.
SET CONDITION
The code will set if the ACM receives an internal 1 message from the Right Front Impact Sensor.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Signal circuit shorted to battery
- Signal circuit short to ground
- Right front sensor 1 circuits shorted together
- Ground circuit open
- Signal circuit open
- ACM, passenger side impact sensor
- Repair is complete
- Stored code or intermittent condition
- Active code present
