OIL PUMP






1. The Oil Pump is mounted in the transmission converter housing.
2. The Oil Pump can only be serviced by disassembling the transmission.
3. The Oil Pump is a high-performance gear type pump with a small number of specially designed gear teeth. The drive gear is fitted into the extension sleeve of the torque converter, so it turns in the same direction as engine output. Oil drawn into the pump is compressed then expelled.
