Fuel is collected in the fuel tank (5). The fuel is drawn in by the fuel pump module (4) in the tank and distributed to the fuel filter (3) and onto the high pressure fuel pump (1). From there the fuel is distributed onto the fuel rail (11) and then to the individual injectors (8). Any fuel not needed flows back to the fuel tank (5) through the cooler lines (6) and mixes with the cool fuel in the fuel pump module bowl to be used again.
