Crankshaft - Installation

INSTALLATION





CAUTION: Apply a light coat of clean engine oil to the bearing surfaces before installation.

1. Select and install the main bearings.




2. Install the crankshaft.
3. Install the main bearing caps.









4. Install the pistons.









5. Install the oil pump.
6. Install the oil pump chain.




7. Install the windage tray.




8. Install the upper oil pan.




9. Install the lower oil pan.




10. Install the front engine cover.




11. Install the cylinder heads.




12. Install the flexplate.




13. Install the engine.
14. Fill the engine oil.
15. Fill the coolant.
16. Connect the battery.
