DESCRIPTION

The Crankshaft Position Sensor (1) mounts to the rear of the engine block near the transmission.





The PCM uses the Crankshaft Position sensor to calculate the following:

- Engine RPM
- TDC position of cylinder 1.
- Ignition timing
- Injector timing
