The sensor screws into the cylinder block, directly below the intake manifold.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove intake manifold, Intake Manifold - Removal
3. Remove the passenger side cylinder head Cylinder Head - Removal.
4. Disconnect electrical connector from knock sensor.
5. Use a crows foot socket to remove the knock sensor.
