Removal
5.7LThe Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor (3) is mounted into the top/rear of the intake manifold (4) near the cowl/hood seal (1).
1.
Disconnect electrical connector at sensor by sliding release lock out (1). Press down on lock tab (2) for removal.
2.
Rotate sensor 1/4 turn counter-clockwise for removal.
3.
Check condition of sensor o-ring.
