REMOVAL

NOTE: Be certain the transmission is in the park lock position.




TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR







1. Remove the shift cable from the manual shift lever (2).
2. Disconnect the wire harness from the transmission range sensor.
3. Remove the two nuts (3) from the control shaft.



TRS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION







4. Pry open the tabs on the stake washer (5), remove the nut (3) and the stake washer (5).
5. Remove the bolts (2).
6. Remove the transmission range sensor (1) from the transmission control shaft (4).
