B1D5B-ADJUSTABLE PEDAL SWITCH CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information. Electrical Diagrams
- When Monitored:
The Adjustable Pedals Switch is in active operation.
- Set Condition:
The Memory Seat Module (MSMD) detects an activation of both pedal switches at the same time.
1. DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE
NOTE: This DTC must be active for the results of this test to be valid.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, select view DTCs. Record all DTC information.
3. Using the scan tool, clear stored DTCs.
4. Cycle the ignition switch off then on.
5. Move the Adjustable Pedals Switch forward and rearward several times.
6. Using the scan tool, select view DTCs.
Is the status active for this DTC?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Go to and perform the APS INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Testing and Inspection
2. WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR/TERMINALS
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Memory Seat Module harness connector.
3. Disconnect the Adjustable Pedals Switch harness connector.
4. Inspect the wiring harness, connectors and terminals.
